Howard Fall Family 2019

Family of 3 portraits, fall family portraits, Salomon Farms Fort Wayne

I photographed the Howard family last fall.  This year we didn’t have to worry about hand warmers and red noses during their fall family portrait session.  Ms. Chloie is just as rambuctious as she was last year, which makes for some fantastic candid shots.  I loved working with this family and the day was perfect for fall portraits.  Here is one of my favorites be sure to check out all of the Howard Fall Family Portraits Here.

McKernan Family 2019

Fall family portraits, family of 4 portraits, children playing in leaves portraits

Love…Love these portraits!  Fall portrait season has arrived even though the temps are still in the 80’s and trees are still holding onto their green.  You’d never know by looking at these shots, it was 90 degrees the day we took these portraits and the park was littered with at least 50 high school students and their parents getting pictures before homecoming.  Brandi and her family did fantastic with rolling with it, and the pay off was beautiful fall family portraits.  The girls were so fun to work with and I had tons of fun making them giggle.   Here is one of my favorites, but be sure to check out all of the McKernan Fall Family Portraits Here.

Baker Family Portraits

What a great way to kick off the fall portrait season!  I have done photographs for the Baker family for the past couple of years and they are always a fun group to work with.  There is nothing like starting off a portrait session with a little sibling spat as a result of a loving brother throwing a snake at his sister…no joke!  I’m just glad it wasn’t at me…sorry Kristen.  Anyways, I had a blast shooting this family and their fall family portraits turned out beautifully.  Oh and if you ever need any landscape trees, large trees, mulch, etc… they are the go to place in our area.  Check out their website JB Landscape & Nursery.

Here is one of my favorite shots, but be sure to check out all of their family portraits here.

Ms. Mila’s Newborn Portraits

Newborn girl portraits

Having your first baby is an exciting time in a parents life.  I’m happy to be a part of this families journey to becoming a family of 3.  I met Chelsea and Jake through church in a Sunday school class.  This Sunday school class led to a group of couples getting together on a regular basis to study God’s word and do life together.  We have been meeting and “doing life together” for over 5 years!  These friends are like extended family members; so we were all super excited when Chelsea and Jake announced they were expecting their first child.

Meet Ms. Mila.  Although she spent a little time in the NICU, she is now home and the three of them have started to figure out life as a family of 3.  It was an absolute pleasure spending time with Chelsea and Jake while photographing their new little peanut.  We captured some great moments that I hope they  will cherish forever.  Here is one of my favorites, but be sure to check out all of Mila’s Newborn Proofs Here.

Layla Has Arrived

newborn girl, newborn portraits,

One of my best friends, Amanda, from high school just had her second child.  We planned for me to come down for some newborn portraits soon after her arrival.  This newborn session was extra special because I not only got to see Ms. Layla and do her portraits, but I also got to visit with several other great friends that I don’t get to see often enough.  Amanda lives about 2.5 hours south of us so I took off early on Friday to get some newborn portraits and visit for a bit.  It wasn’t until earlier that week, I found out several other of our friends planned to come up that same evening.  It was a fantastic day!

Now back to the whole reason for this blog post, Ms. Layla’s Newborn portraits.  They turned out so good!  We were even able to get big brother and Mom and Dad in a couple of shots.  Here is one of my favorites, but be sure to check out all of Layla’s Newborn Proofs Here.
