It has been about 10 years since I photographed this family. It was great to work with them again and I can’t believe how big the Hart kids have gotten. Jack was nine at our last photo session and now he is a senior! Where does the time go. This shoot was a hybrid session. The main focus was Jack’s senior portraits, but we also snapped a couple family shots too. Here are some of my favorites of both! You can see all of the proofs in the links at the bottom of the post.

Weston Turned ONE

The past couple of years I have really cut back on the number of sessions I’m booking. My kids are getting into extra curricular activities like sports and 4-h and I find myself realizing how little time I have left with them. For this reason, I refuse to miss their events and have cut back how much I’m shooting. So when I do have sessions, they are generally for close friends or family.
My sisters family had a milestone this month. Their last one year old birthday celebration! Their youngest, Weston, turned a year old! It seems like just yesterday that I did his newborn pictures. How does time fly so fast! Because schedules are so busy and we live several hours apart, we planned for a family session and some snapshots of each of the kiddos. Walker Lee Newborn Portraits

My sister had her second little boy on April fools day! The funny thing is, he looks just like her first son Cooper. I mean, she is going to have a hard time differentiating their pictures 10 years from now. He is the cutest little thing and was an absolute angle during his session. Herman Family Portraits 2023

What a fun session! The Herman family is always great to work with. Their boys are so fun and have such great personalities which make for the best candid shots. Even though we had to take cover in the middle of the session for a short rain shower, the pictures turned out absolutely great. They brought some unique props, festive smoke bombs. Howard Family Portraits 23

Fall is my favorite season. Summer days are filled with yard work, sports, home projects and so much more. As fall approaches and days get shorter and you can’t help but to slow down slightly. Tis the season to sit on a back patio, enjoy the cooler weather and beautiful changing landscape. This is fall for me. I kicked off my fall portrait season with the Howard Family! They brought a new addition to their family this year, their sweet dog Lola. As always, I had a great time photographing the Howard Family.
