I don’t do a lot of holiday themed photo sessions, but this could be changing!  My long time friend, Amanda, came up for dinner and a photo session.  I had a blast getting this set together for little LJ’s one year old portraits.  Amanda and I worked together to combine props she planned to use for LJ’s birthday party with items I had around the house/studio to create the perfect setting for a holiday, woodsy backdrop.  These portraits are some of my favorite.  Maybe it’s LJ’s cute little face, his bald head, perfect rustic holiday props, or a combination of all that make me smile, either way I love them.  Here are some of my favorites.  Check out all of LJ’s One Year Old Portraits Here.

I had the honor of photographing Bryce two times this fall.  His family had extended family portraits taken in early fall.  I was able to get him to smile, so his mom decided to schedule a short senior portrait session.  Bryce was thrilled! 

Like many other senior guys, Bryce wasn’t super pumped to get his senior portraits taken, but he knew how much it meant to his mom so he agreed to get in front of my camera…again.  Bryce was a good sport and not to mention pretty darn handsome.  Here are some of my favorite pictures from Bryce’s senior portrait session.  View all of Bryce’s Proofs here.

What beautiful children! The last time I photographed these kiddos was when little Vivian was a newborn. Oh how they have grown. Photographing children makes my heart swell… their carefree attitudes and innocence is something every adult could use a little more of. Here are some of my favorites.

I love photographing large families! I love families that take the time to get together and coordinate for a beautiful family portrait. While the hours leading up to the session may be stressful, once everyone is together, ready, and the funny jokes start everyone loosens up a bit. This family was absolutely fantastic to work with. They were champs in the cold weather and we thankfully finished up the session just before the rain/sleet started! Yes sleet…once again the unpredictable Indiana weather keeping us on our toes. Tyler and Rachel were referred to me by my brother in law.  Tyler and Rachel had a vision of beautiful fall color in an outdoor setting for their engagement portraits.  The unpredictable, Indiana fall weather had us on our toes, but we were still able to keep our date.  It was an absolute pleasure working with these two.  The day was a bit cold, but the beautiful color of Lindenwood Nature Preserve made up for the cool temps.  I swear some of their portraits could be used in an advertisement.  Here are some of my favorite portraits from this engagement session, but make sure you check out all of Tyler and Rachel’s Engagement Proofs here.
