I had a fantastic time catching up a bit with a great friend and photographing her son’s 6 month pictures. Just 6 months ago I photographed little LJ as a newborn. Smith Extended Family Portraits

What a fun portrait session! It is always fun working with extended families to get a group shot, but this group was especially fun. This family had members traveling from all over. A wedding in Fort Wayne was the initial motivation to gather in this area. However, they decided it was a perfect opportunity to schedule an extended family portrait session too. It must have been meant to be… I had an opening that worked for everyone and the weather was absolutely beautiful. Here are some of my favorites from the this extended family portrait session. Layla Newborn Portraits

I just love working with the Lash Family! Kasey and I had been in touch for several months before her due date with the anticipation of an early arrival. As a due date approaches I will reach out to my clients and remind them of the date and tips to ensure a smooth newborn session. Thankfully Kasey has a good sense of humor… I accidentally sent her several text messages that were suppose to go to my husband…EEEK! For a moment, Kasey thought I was bringing a cooler to Layla’s newborn session!
Little Layla decided to arrive 2 weeks early; just in time to try out some of my new headbands and wraps. I photographed Layla’s big brother as a newborn approximately 2 and half years ago. They have lots of similarities especially their long beautiful eyelashes! Layla was an absolute angel to work with and her pictures are stunning. Mabrie’s Newborn Portraits

How sweet is this little peanut and I am absolutely in love with her name. I knew about little Mabrie before everyone, well almost everyone. Alecia set up a surprise pregnancy reveal portrait session approximately 8 months ago to announce to her husband that they were expecting their first child. Fast forward 9 months; Ms. Mabrie arrives and was a perfect angel for her newborn portraits. I got to use some new props on her and her pictures turned out beautifully. She was probably my most smiley newborn to date. I even got one with her smiling while dad was holding her. Congratulations Alecia and Kaler; you are both amazing parents. 1 Year Old Portraits

I love taking pictures of families, children, and seniors. It gives me so much joy to set peoples minds at ease about their insecurities and the idea of being in front of a camera by taking flattering and fun portraits. That joy is magnified when I can do it for the people that are closest to me, my family! While visiting my family over Memorial Day weekend we decided to kick off Ms. Everly’s 1st birthday with her 1 year old portraits. Her 1 year old portrait session turned into an extended family portrait session. We had tons of fun, the kids were great and the portraits are even better! here are some of my favorites and there are many more so check out all of Everly’s 1 year portraits and our family portraits here.
